In the Winter Quarter of 2022 I enrolled in Dr. Gordon Wetzstein's Computational Imaging course (EE367) at Stanford. This quickly became my all time favourite course in my university career. The material covered engaging inverse/signal processing problems using math I loved with an added bonus - pretty pictures! I continued playing with the techniques discussed in the course such as HDR imaging and image stacking, and soon found an interest in photography itself. I was able to get my hands on a DSLR through Stanford's Lathrop Library and it wasn't long before I went and found my own gear on Facebook Marketplace. Now it comes with me on all my hikes and travels and I (almost) don't notice the extra weight at all!Â
